TUTORIAL POLICIES

1. You will be provided with materials to be used in every lesson with no additional cost.
2. For students to successfully advance on an instrument/voice, it is necessary for them to spend quality time
practicing. Of course, we will provide feedback and very specific instructions every lesson. This is the key to
improvement.
3. Payments are due on the first lesson of every month. However, we will consider half of the tuition and collect
the other half after two weeks of the lesson.
4. Attendance: You are required to sign your initials in the attendance log before each lesson. This is the easy
way to count the number of lessons and days you have attended in a month. You are required to take 12
sessions in a month.
5. If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson for any valid reason, you must give us 24-hours of notice.
Schedules that are not cancelled prior to the lesson time are considered service rendered.
6. If you wish to terminate your child’s music lesson before the end of a month in which payment has already
been given, a refund will not be issued. The only exceptions to this are in the case where a family is suddenly
transferred from the area and traveling to the lesson location becomes prohibitive; or there is a prolonged
illness in the immediate family that creates a financial burden. In these, and similar cases, you will receive a
refund.
