160 KVA Mahindra Powerol Brand Silent DG Set. We are pleased to introduce ourselves as one of

Gensets.
DG sets are powered with ‘MAHINDRA ENGINES’, well known for their ruggedness, economics of
performance & high reliability. Mahindra Engines are based on WATER-COOLED technology and
have powered more than 2 Lakhs DG Sets running across the country.

Technical Specification for 160 KVA DG Set
DIESEL ENGINE:
MAHINDRA MAKE DIESEL ENGINE Model mPOWER 61995G (LATEST CPCB-2 APPLICABEL
NORMS FOR NOISE AND EMMISSIONS) 6 Cylinders, Inline, 4 Stroke Cycle, Liquid Cooled,
Developing 199 Bhp @ 1500 RPM, under NTP Condition of BS: 5514. The engine shall be provided
with electrical starting arrangements and shall give electrical output of 160 KVA / 128 KW @ 0.8
lagging power factor, 415V. at alternator terminal.

ALTERNATOR:
Leroy Somer make single bearing alternator suitable for continuous operation of generating 160
KVA / 128 KW @ 1500 RPM, 415V., 0.8 Lagging Power Factor suitable for 50 Hz, 3 Phase, 4 Wire
System confirming to BS 5000 / IS 4722. The alternator is brushless type, screen protected, revolving
field, self excited, self regulated through an AVR. The alternator has the following features.
Ö +/- 1.0 % Voltage regulation (max) in static condition
Ö IP 23 protection with insulation class “H”
Ö Permissible overload of 10% for one hour in 12 hours of operation
DIGITAL STANDARD MANUAL CONTROL PANEL:
Digital Manual is equipped with 16 bit high speed RISC Processor based DES-9 controller. It displays
the following Parameters:

• Rpm
• Cumulative Run Hours
• Oil Pressure
• Coolant Temperature
• Charging Current (DC Amp Meter)
• The DES -9 Processor Provides the following safety to the engine:

ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE:
• Silent DG Set enclosure is of modular construction with the provision to assemble & dismantle
easily as per site condition. Lifting arrangement is also an integral part of the enclosure.
• There are no protruding parts.
• The enclosure is fabricated out of CRCA sheet of 16 SWG.
• The fuel level is indicated with the help of fuel gauge meter.
• Battery is accommodated in a separate tray in the enclosure.
• The doors are gasketed with high quality EPDM gaskets to avoid leakage of sound.
• The door handles are lockable type.
• Sound Proofing of enclosure is done by high quality imported PU fire resistant foam of 25 mm
thickness.
• A special residential silencer is provided with the enclosure to control exhaust noise.
• Specially designed alternators are provided to control sound at air entry to the container and
exist from the container.
• To make system vibration free, engine & alternator is mounted on specially designed anti-
vibration pads.
• Adequate ventilation is provided to meet air requirement for combustion heat removal.
• Temperature of enclosure does not exceed beyond 5 degrees of ambient temperature.
• Noise level is 75 dB (A) at 1 meter distance. The enclosure meets the norms as
specified by CPCB
ACCESSORIES:
• Fuel Tank : Daily service fuel tank of sheet metal of 250 LTR. complete with air vent, inlet
and outlet connections.
• BATTERIES : One Nos. batteries of 12 volts each in dry and uncharged condition of Exide /
Prestolite or equivalent make with its leads.

ANNEXURE – C
Terms of Condition
1. Your techno commercial clear Purchase Order Shall be placed with minimum of 35% advance
and balance shall to be paid before delivery against Performa Invoice.
2. Delivery: The set will be delivered within 1 to 2 Weeks after receiving of your techno
commercial clear purchase order duly accepted by us in all order and respect (Our Dispatch
schedule is liable for variation subject to delivery from our principals.)
3. Validity : This quotation is valid till 15 days from the date of quotation
4. We have rights to cancel, unconditionally, the received order without any prior notice or
intimations against any circumstances beyond our control.
5. The price will in force prevailing at the time of delivery
6. Any changes in government taxes, duties, levies, rules, regulations or any other norms
regarding commercial or technical aspect of DG Sets, which will be cost effective, that will
attract the final cost revision for supply at the time of delivery.
7. Warrantee: Two year from the date of our invoice or 5000 hrs. of running whichever is earlier
(Warrantee for workmanship of engines & alternators is provided by the manufacturers
through their authorized service dealers The warranty for all MHEPL engines from 82.5 kva &
above will now be 5 years / 6000 Hrs.(whichever is earlier) from the date of Commissioning
a. Comprehensive warranty of 2 Years or 6000 hrs.(whichever is earlier) on DG is
applicable
b. 5 years / 6000 hrs warranty is against manufacturing defect for the following parts -
Crank Shaft, Crank Case, Connecting Rod, Cylinder Head & Cam Shaft.
c. The DGs need to be serviced as per the service schedule through our authorized
network of MAGIECs (service dealers), using only genuine consumables & spares,
failing which the warranty terms will stand null & void.
8. Subject to Rajkot Jurisdiction.
No Claim for damage either direct or indirect will be entertained on account of any delay in delivering
the D.G. Set within the time stated above.
NOTE : While all efforts will be made to supply the D.G. Set within the time frame and agreed
price we will be constrained to revise the prices based on our supplier’s revised prices.
