Complaint Letter for Grade Review

Jay Tejada wrote a letter to his instructor Kenneth Opina requesting a review of his 1.4 midterm grade for GE-PC, believing it does not reflect his performance. He asks for the grading rubrics and how percentages translate to GPAs to avoid future confusion. Tejada intends to clarify the grade through this letter and hopes the matter is resolved soon.

Dear Mr. Opina:

Good day!

I am Jay Tejada, a student of yours in GE-PC Group 33 scheduled at Tuesdays and

Thursdays 1:30 – 3:00 PM. I am writing this letter to ask for a review and recount of my
midterm grade for the first semester of academic year 2020 – 2021 in GE-PC. I have
received a grade of 1.4 in your class and I believe that this grade is not appropriate for
my performance in your class. As of this moment, I also do not have possession of the
grading rubrics in your subject. In line with this, I would also like request for a digital
copy of the grading rubrics in your subject and if possible, a digital copy of how the
percentage grades are transmuted to GPAs. This is to avoid future confusions like this
from happening again.

It is my intent to clarify matters though this letter and I hope this matter gets clarified in
the soonest possible time.

Thank you very much and God Bless.

Very respectfully yours,

JAY P. TEJADA
GE PC Group 33 Student
