1. Her cousin Margaret Rhodes said she was "a jolly little girl, but fundamentally
sensible and well behaved".
2. She loved horses from a very young age and was given a pony for her 4th birthday.
3. In 1934 at the age of 8, Princess Elizabeth met Philip Mountbatten - Prince Philip of
Greece and Denmark - at a wedding. He would later become her husband!
