SUBJECT: IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FOUR-DAY WORKWEEK AND ONE-DAY WORK FROM


HOME ON WEEKLY SHIFTING OF ROTATION OF WORK

1. Per Resolution No. 60-A, s. 2020 of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of
Emerging Diseases, Lanao del Norte is classified under the Modified General Community
Quarantine (MGCQ).

2. In this classification, the work arrangement as indicated by the IATF and the Civil Service
Commission (CSC) is that: “Work in government offices may be at full operational capacity,
or under such alternative work arrangements as agencies may deem appropriate in
accordance with the relevant rules and regulations issued by the Civil Service Commission.”

3. Considering the urgency in preparing for the necessary learning materials prior to August 24,
2020 Opening of Classes, this school shall implement the Four-Day Workweek and One-Day
Work from Home effective August 10, 2020 per Division Memorandum No. 305, s. 2020.

4. To ensure social distancing, School Heads and Teachers shall observe on the following
grouping depending on the number of personnel. (Please see attach file)

5. Item No. [Link] of DepEd Order No. 11, s. 2020 emphasizes that, “In addition to personnel
authorized to be under the WFH arrangement, personnel who meet the following criteria
shall be under WFH arrangement except when their services rendered physically in the
school are indispensable or when school work is already permitted for all:

a. Personnel who are 21 years old and below,


b. Personnel who are 60 years old and above, and
c. Personnel who are at high risk of infection, including but not limited to pregnant
women, those with immunodeficiency, comorbidities, or other health risks, illnesses
and/or pre-existing medical conditions as enumerated in item [Link] of DM No. 043, s.
2020 Suspect Case and COVID – 19 Probable Case, including those who reside with the
Suspect or Probable Case; and
d. Personnel who encountered difficulty reporting to school due to the imposition of strict
home and/or local community quarantine, curfew, limited or no access to any available
modes of transportation options, and/or other regulatory limitations on inter
municipality/city travel.

6. For more details, refer to DepEd Order No. 11, s. 2020, Div. Memo No. 305, s. 2020 and CSC
MC 10, s. 2020.

7. Compliance of this memorandum is directed.
