1. Remove the crankset from the frame and loosen the bolt on the top guide to rotate it upwards. 2. Line up the chain guide to the frame's ISCG mounts and insert the bolts. 3. Adjust the top guide so that the bolt at the 12 o'clock position is lined up and there is approximately 3mm of space between the top of the guide and the chain.

Top Guide / Top Guide with Bash 4. Washers can be used to fine tune your set up to get the correct
chainline. We have supplied more washers than you require to ensure you
can tailor your set up. The chain should sit in the centre of the guide.

Top Guide with Bash only – There are two bash guards included, one for
chain rings up to 32t and one for chain rings up to 36t. Fit the one which
suits your set up before starting to install chain guide.

5. Refit driveside crankarm to frame.

6. Check chain line is correct. Add / remove spacers if required (by


refollowing steps above).
1. Remove crankset from your frame.
7. Adjust the guide so that the bolt in the top guide at the 12 O’Clock position.
2. loosen bolt on top guide and rotate upwards.

8. Once the guide is lined up, tighten ISCG bolts. Fully reinstall crankset,
3. Line up the chain guide to your frame and insert bolts to ISCG mounts. chain and refit front half of top guide.

9. Adjust top guide so that there is approx. 3mm space between top of the
guide and the chain.

10. Everything should now be fitted. Double check the chainline is good and
there is no excessive rubbing on the guide, especially when in the largest /
smallest sprockets.
On full suspension frames it is also worth checking that everything is
working as it should when the bike is in a “bottomed out” position, this can
be done by removing the air from your shock (or coil spring if you have a
coil shock).
