2006
Both boys and girls make the back bone for their country. Because they
have wonderful abilities to improve their country. Also they have creative
imagination and open minds to discover unknown new things in their daily life.
Another activity is cleaning. Cleaning makes everything you see beautiful
and valuable. In my village we specify a day just for cleaning and helping each
other (Nafeer). Every person (man, woman and children) who has ability to work
goes out to the street. Including me joined the neighbours. They divided work
among them. The first was great campaign to remove litter and dirt. After that we
spread in the village to do our work. One of my duties was planting trees, helping
someone to collect his crop and collecting money to help the poor.
Besides all of that we keep improving education and fighting ignorance, so
we have started to build illiteracy classes for all uneducated people. Indeed
education is very crucio because it raises the awareness in every things for
instance in health, economy……etc.
Every person must be co-operative in his society and be willing to carry
out useful deeds for the improvement and welfare of his people in a certain area.
2007
Picnics are important activities in the school schedule. They are a source
of recreation and entertainment.
Last month, the English society held a meeting on which we decided to go
for a picnic. We agreed upon a place. It was a farm by the river Nile. We
collected the necessary money and bought the things we needed.
The bus set off early on a bright sunny summer Friday morning. The bus
driver was driving very carefully. Some of us were singing. Some were joking
while others were teasing their neighbours or looking out of the windows. On the
way, we saw many attractive villages with green fields. Some farmers were

growing crops while others were watering them. We also saw various animals
grazing.
It took us one hour to reach our destination. It was a beautiful farm with
singing birds and green trees then we divided ourselves into small groups. Some
began preparing food. Some went fetching water while others formed a circle and
began preparing the entertainment programme.
On that unforgettable day, we sang, danced and enjoyed ourselves. Some
went fishing. Some went swimming while others went collecting nuts.
At sunset, we took the bus home. Indeed it was an enjoyable and nice
picnic. How wonderful!
2008
Last summer I was present at my cousin’s wedding. The wedding
celebration took place in the “Family Club” at 8p.m. My cousin had sent
invitations to his relatives, friends and his colleagues at work.
When the guests arrived they were given cold drinks later dinner was
served. The wedding party started at 10 p.m. the singer started to sing lovely
songs. The guests hearing the songs they began to dance.
Then came the moment when the bride and bridegroom arrived to the
party. The bridegroom was holding the bride’s hand and moving slowly towards
the “Kosha” where they were seated. The bride was wearing a white wedding
dress, and the bridegroom was wearing a blue full suit. The singer welcomed the
couple with a special song, while the guests marched to congratulate them.
After photographs were taken the couple shared the guests with the
dancing. At midnight the party was rounded up and the couple left the party for
Cairo to spend their honeymoon.

2012
Long ago there lived a woman who was called Amna. She was a widow.
Her husband died young. He left her five children of school age. Unfortunately
the father left them no money. So they led a dreary, poor life.
Amna used to work in a nearby factory as a cleaner. In the afternoon,
Amna sold peanuts to the children who lived in her vicinity. Amna earned little
money which didn’t make ends meet. Then she joined the productive family
programmes and took a loan Amna bought 100 chickens. She began breeding
them until they became big hens. Amna’s hen produced eight dozen eggs daily.
She sold them in the market every day.
In this way, Amna’s business flourished. So her income increased. Then
she repaid the loan. She had better clothes for her children. She bought them
better food. Eventually Amna and her children lived in comfort and ease.
In conclusion we can say that Amna was a good example of a productive
creative widow.
2014
Education
Education enables a person to acquire knowledge, skills and information.
Moreover, education helps people to find better jobs, so people lives happily and
comfortably. Education paves the way to develop the society and the economy of
the country.
Formal education is very important. It is faster and takes less time when a
person goes to school and then university. It helps to turn out doctors, engineers,
lawyers, judges, teachers and the like. It is really the best kind of education.
Education plays a vital role in the development of the country. And
educated person usually leads a healthier and happier life. Moreover, it leads to
the quick growth of the economy of the country. Educated people are more
productive and creative. Eventually, education builds nations. It combats
illiteracy and diseases. Above all, inventions and discoveries are the outcomes of
education. Life without education will be dull, primitive and dreary.

2015
Water
As a matter of act water is the most important substance on the earth. It
plays a vital role in life. Man, animal and plant won’t survive without water.
Water is abundant all over the globe. Water means life.
There are several sources of water. Man obtains water from rivers and
lakes. Besides, rain provides man with a lot of water. Moreover, man gets water
from wells in places where there are no rivers. In addition, natural springs supply
man with pure, clean water. People in Jebel Marra enjoy drinking sweet water,
which they get from natural springs.
Water is really more precious than gold. We use water for drinking and
irrigating our fertile land, where we grow different vegetables, crops and fruit.
Furthermore, we need water for manufacturing as well as industry. If there were
no water, people would die of famine and hunger. Briefly every living creature
won’t live without water. Therefore, we have to use water wisely and when need
arises. Water is indispensable.
2016
Women nowadays have become important members of the society. They
play various roles in the development.
Being well educated, women help children in education. They educate the
illiterates and train the children in different roles. Women, as well, play an
important social role in forming social clubs and planning families and their
resources. They keep good traditions and customs.
Woman participates in the economic development. They help in running
co –operatives and committees. Also they work in different fields and businesses.
As a result of their efforts, living standards have been raised.
Politically, women are now included in making decisions about what
happens in their country. By now some of them have become members of
parliament.
Furthermore, women perform home tasks perfectly. They cook meals,
clean the home and wash the clothes. They also bear and rear their children and
serve their husbands. All these activities are clearly seen as economic activities.

In summary, we can say that women perform great contribution in the
development of society. How wonderful are women!
2017
In fact the Sudan is our beloved home country. It is a very extensive, big
country. The Sudan is undoubtedly the richest country in natural resources. In
addition, it is most productive, agricultural country in Africa.
Our natural resources are numerous. We have plenty of water. The Nile
provides us with abundant water to drink. The water is also used in irrigation.
Besides, rain pours perpetually all autumn long. The Sudan has very fertile,
productive land. So we grow a lot of vegetables, crops and fruit. Our palm trees
produce superb quality of dates. The Sudan has the best mango and guava. Fish
abound in the Red Sea.
It is worth mentioning that the Sudan has a lot of livestock. The cattle,
sheep, goats and camels supply people with meat and milk. Cattle and sheep are
exported to the sisterly countries. This earns a lot of foreign currency. Moreover,
we have national parks where lions, tigers, monkeys and deer live. These wild
animals attract tourists to visit the Sudan and see them. Gold and petroleum are
available in the Sudan. What a lot of natural resources the Sudan has!
