Linear Regression Analysis of Age and Wage

This document reports the results of a linear regression analysis with SSTotal as the dependent variable and Age, Wage, and Living Cost as independent variables using dataset data. The regression model found Age and Wage to be statistically significant predictors of SSTotal, but not Living Cost. Specifically, higher Age predicted higher SSTotal, while higher Wage predicted lower SSTotal. Model fit statistics and residual diagnostics are also reported.

Assignment 7:

 Using the “dataset” file, perform a regression: DV = SSTotal (sum of all the SS; if you don’t
remember how to do it, watch here), IV = Age, Wage, Living Cost
