-- Leadership Development Program-Asia
Leadership Behavioral Laboratory
Dear XXX:
It is our great honor to invite you to participate in the leadership development
program conducted by Lessons of Experience-Asia. The program intends to learn the
career development of managers on both middle and senior levels and get to know
how they improve themselves through these experiences by interviewing them. The
program has been widely conducted in North America, Europe, India and Singapore
and has already achieved a lot of accomplishments. Now, China is also included into
the program in order to do comparative study.
The program is composed of three parts: leadership development, influence
sustainability and corporate culture profile assessment.
Using professional models and tools, leadership development aims at exploring
effective leadership development strategies and guidelines applicable to the unique
environment and specific historical period of China by interviewing senior managers
in China.
Influence sustainability uses professional assessment tools to find out the main
methods and skills employed by leaders in Chinese enterprises to set up and sustain
their power and influence by asking managers on both middle and senior levels and
their teams to do questionnaires. The purpose is to provide guidelines to help Chinese
managers promote their management skills.
Corporate culture profile assessment uses authoritative assessment tools to find out
the type, characteristics, strengths and weaknesses, developing trend and strategies of
the corporate culture by conducting a questionnaire survey among employees, which
can help Chinese enterprises to plan and develop their corporate cultures.
The program is cooperated by Leadership Behavioral Laboratory (LBL) and Center
for Creative Leadership (CCL).
Set up in 1994, China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) is the leading
China-based international business school. In 2007, the MBA program of CEIBS was
ranked 11th by “Financial Times” among all business schools all over the world. The
Leadership Behavioral Laboratory, as a representative of leadership assessment and
development of CEIBS, aims to explore the unique laws of leadership development in
China and provide the most effective advice to promote leadership skills through
interview, simulation, behavior observation and questionnaire.
Center for Creative Leadership is set up in 1970. As one of the top leadership research
and education organizations, it has already achieved lots of original accomplishments
in the field of leadership development. According to the survey conducted by
“Financial Times” in 2006, it is among the top five educational institutes for managers
globally. The leadership development program of Lessons of Experience-Asia is one
of the important global research projects which CCL is currently engaging to.
It is believed that your participation will greatly deepen our understanding concerning
the ways of leadership development in China. Interviews are arranged in 2007.
In order to express our sincere gratitude, we will share with you the strategies and
practices of leadership development in China through meetings and reports. Also,
