The reading passage is about the issues that "let it burn" policy brought to the environment. However, the lecturer specifically
contradicts that this policy cause some positive consequences rather than negative ones.

To begin with, the author of the passage notifies that the policy that wanted to make forest fires much less hazardous,
unfortunately led to the destruction of lots of plants and their dwellings. But the lecturer points out that it brought lots of new
opportunities for plants. New small plants replaced previous ones and seeds could not germinate if the temperature was not high
enough.
Z

Secondly, although the passage asserts that people needed to replace this policy, because animals were also unable to escape
a

owing to the destruction of food chains, the lecturer mentions that when new plants provided an ideal habitat for animals, they
also started to live as normal. Furthermore, some food chains became fortified.
b

Thirdly and lastly, the passage declares that those problems effected to the local economy as well. Large number of tourists left
a

places where fires occured and it gave lots of harm to the tourism business. Nevertheless, the lecturer completely denies that
since 1988 when one of the most terrible fire happened in Yellowstone, no other awful fires appeared. Thus, the rate of tourism
n

did not decline.

Some people think that people who gain achievements always try new things and think of taking risks rather than doing the
same thing. I completely agree with that point of view for three reasons which I will explain in this essay.
a

To begin with, these people are always inspired by something and they never give up even if they have a failure. Thus, they do
m

not consider any hardships when they take risks. Furthermore, they take lessons from their mistakes. As a consequence, they
take lots of steps in order to accomplish.
.c

Secondly, they avert themselves from having a monotonous lifestyle. Sometimes people think that having just one achievement
or working in one field is ample for them so there is no need for attaining other things. On the other hand, successful people
o

work on new strategies, examine and use them. They make several shifts in their plans and get accustomed to their new lives.
For instance, when I fed up with doing the same methods for studying and cannot finish my homework very early, I make up
m

new plans and think about how to handle my daily tasks with the perfect sequence. After that it works really great and I get
good marks from my subjects.

Thirdly and lastly, in order to obtain popularity, people have to dedicate too much. The public always respect to diligent people,
because they learn too many things from them such as a lot of advice or beneficial ways for organizing a plan. Therefore, taking
risks or doing something unusual is a way for being renowned among people. Subsequently, if they do not make so awful
mistakes, they will again be famous.

To sum up briefly, people who always have accomplishments apply new things in accordance with understanding their
mistakes by taking risks, avoiding from tedious life and having fame.
