All the group are looking carefully along the road, looking

Suddenly gun-fire comes out of nowhere, killing one man as

the rest run for cover.

Fenton comes sprinting back in a panic with Jamie who is shot

The group gets up and sprints off, splitting up slightly.

Mid-Close up The protagonist and Fenton sit just inside the

edge of the woods, looking at McCarthy's.

Fenton leans forward as if he's going to stand up.

PROTAGONIST

They set a moment longer, scanning the field.

ULTRA LONG SHOT

A figure moves in the distance, emerging from the trees

opposite the characters.

As it comes out, two more figures become visible. They are

clearly the tans.

Protagonist sprints to McCarthy's and kicks the door open.

PROTAGONIST
Lads, they're on us!

Protagonist bolts out the door and down the field.

The tans begin firing as the group pours around the corner
into their view.

Two of them get hit immediately. One goes down, the other
gets hit in the leg and stumbles on, before being shot down

Fenton disappears into the woods to hide.

The tans begin sprinting, stopping to fire before sprinting

Protagonist emerges on the road. A row of tans are waiting,

guns raised.

Protagonist doesn't stop, and dives into the woods on the

other side of the road.

One other of the group makes it unscathed before the volley

starts. One more makes it, while holding his bleeding
shoulder.

Gunshots continue behind him.

His eyes fill with sadness as he continues running.

The tans drag a wounded man to a ditch and toss him in.

Several of the group stand around, hands on their head, held

at gunpoint.
