PAST SIMPLE

In today's class we have learned some regular verbs in the past simple.
For example: jumped, smiled, landed, shouted, helped. We practised ordering a story,
reading and the pronunciation of the new verbs.

On Thursday we learned  to use some irregular verbs in the past simple such as:


woke up, gave, had, went and felt. 

We listened to and ordered a story, we used some of the the new verbs in a personlised context
and later played a fun word game.
On Thursday 26th March we'll have our end of term exam. The following topics may be
included.

-   Going to + place + infinitive (Example: I’m going to the market to buy vegetables).


-   Places/things we can see in a town (for example: library, market, bus station, map…)
-  Sea creatures
-  Comparatives and superlatives (Example: a computer is more expensive than a torch.
The easiest school subject is P.E).

 “Mum didn’t go to the zoo”


 By the end of this module students will be able to do the following

 I can ask and answer questions about completed past actions

 I can identify and name some animals

 Past Simple (negative and questions)

Vocabulary
The world around us: polar bear, kangaroo, lion, panda, camel, eagle, bat, tortoise
