“A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE OFFICE OF HONORABLE SHERWIN “WIN” TING


GATCHALIAN, SENATOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES AND CHAIRMAN OF THE SENATE
COMMITTEE ON BASIC EDUCATION, ARTS AND CULTURE TO ALLOCATE FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF
HEAVY-DUTY GENERATOR SET FOR THE UTILIZATION OF BINANUAANAN HIGH SCHOOL”.

WHEREAS; The Binanuaanan High School is a public school located at Barangay Binanuaanan, Pili,
Camarines Sur offering basic secondary education under the K to 12 curriculum program of the
Department of Education.

WEHREAS; The present situation that the school is facing this school year, particularly the emergence
of the Covid 19 Pandemic, and had been followed by the devastation of typhoon Tonyo, Typhoon
Quinta, Super Typhoon Rolly and typhoon Ulyssis, all these phenomenon entirely affected the school’s
delivery of basic education services specifically the power/ electricity lose as a damage result of the
typhoons mentioned herein.

WHEREAS; Considering the present situation of the Binanuaanan High School, its administration and
Faculty Club is in the process of recovery from the above – stated calamities in order to pursue its
primary task and objective – to provide quality basic education services to the community.
WHEREAS; During the damage assessment and consultation among the members of the faculty and
other clienteles of the school, it was identified that provision of Generator Set is one among the most
important equipment that the school must have in order to continue its services most specifically the
modular learning platform being provided to its students.

WHEREAS; The fund of the school is not enough and will never be enough to augment the expenses in
order to acquire the above mentioned equipment.

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of JERIC ADIZAS – Faculty Vice President, duly seconded by the majority
present, be it.

RESOLVE AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, approving A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE OFFICE OF


HONORABLE SHERWIN “WIN” TING GATCHALIAN, SENATOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES AND
CHAIRMAN OF THE SENATE COMMITTEE ON BASIC EDUCATION, ARTS AND CULTURE TO ALLOCATE
