INT.
Unknown location, unknown time
The film opens on a boy, he lifts a piece of paper to his
face. We see a smiley face drawn onto the paper, it stays
there for a moment, it then slowly shifts to sadness, then
anger, then happiness again, as they come back the happy
face’s smile and eyes become more exaggerated, the smile
becoming wider with a more prominent grin and wide crazy eyes,
sadness having extreme sunken eyes and a very low frown and
anger with an angered glare and a rigid grit in its teeth, his
fringe harsh and veiny. The faces are contorted and almost
horrific as they rise in their severity of mania, manic
depression and anger. After this has all happened the faces
curl into a swirling scribble of a ball, the boy is broken and
confused, the shot closes on a fade to black as the scribbled
circle swirls and remains on the paper face of the boy.
