THE WRONG RESPONSE TO…
Our given sentence is ‘The Wring
Response To’. We initially started off
with the idea of the wrong response to
famous film lines, however this
concept has been done before and
there was not much room for
interpretation. Instead we chose the
wrong response to ‘Science’.

As a group we came up with multiple

scenarios and comedic skits that linked
to idea of science. For our final piece
we intend to follow the storyline of a
historian in a educational video going
through different exhibits in a
museum. Each exhibit is a scientific
advancement in time, however, in
each time period something goes
wrong.
Influences

For our main character we decided to look at 70’s tv

presenters and science show hosts like Bill Nye. We also
looked into; Horrible History’s, Don’t Lose Your Head, The
Fast Show, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, for comedy reference and
characters. We decided that the science side should say
factual and that the exhibit characters true to their time
period in terms of clothing. As the Historian is 70’s era
inspired the technology i.e. the camera quality should reflect
that.
