Remainder of Polynomial Division
Remainder of Polynomial Division
The method used is the Polynomial Remainder Theorem, which states that the remainder of the division of a polynomial f(y) by a binomial of the form (2y + 3) can be found by evaluating the polynomial at the root of the divisor. In this case, y = -3/2 is substituted into the polynomial to find the remainder. The remainder is f(-3/2) = 11 .
