1. What are the very functions of community and society to the existence of
education and education to society and community or vice versa. Support your
thoughts with factual example.
Answer:
The very function of Education is to mold young for a better oppurtunity in
continuing their life [Link] key in which to improve better and be a means to
empower individuals to become participants in the transformation of their [Link]
must equipped with Knowledge and skills which are needed to participate effectively as a
member of society. Education in society prepares young ones to be the leader of the
community. In the social life of society is community's foundation, therefore society can help
community. For example; Educational Institution like schools, having this course
(NSTP)National Service Training Program in which help group of students to be active in
doing community service by means helping them to connect to the community. A
Community service broadens the horizons of the students by helping them to understand
the needs of the society and the community that they are trying to help through their
voluntary services. Engaging them in community service provides students with the
oppurtunity to become active member of their community and has a lasting, positive impact
on society at large.

2. As a future educator what is your teaching philosophy during COVID19


pandemic and the advent of “New Normal”? Why?
Answer:
As we adopt to the changes and easing back into our communities. We are calling this
change of living " the new normal". As a future educator my philosophy is " Be Optimistic in
life with this Covid19 pandemic, because learning doesn't stop for those who want to
achieve it".
My philosophy of teaching says; be optimist in life in facing this pandemic,
because of this Covid19 Our lives all affected in so many ways but as long as we are
all positive thinker, We can keep out this worst happenned into better, if We expect the
worst the worst will happen that's why we have to be optimistic in life, nothing in this life is
easy, We all accept the fact of "the new normal" and the modality of learning for students,
in order for us all remained the love of learning, and the love of teaching, give the best way
we could as a students and as a teacher so that "learning" won't stop for those who believe,
and for their dreams that would achieve it.

Answer: The two philosophies of education that are capable unleashing hidden
intelligence among learners are Romanticism and Progressivism. In Romanticism this is a
student-centered philosophy that focuses on differentiation, meeting the students learning
readiness needs. Students decide what they want to learn and, in some cases, the students
are expected to take the full responsibility of their learning. And second, the Progressivism
this philosophy is stresses the progress of the students with their own experimentation, they
are the one who think and problem solver through his potential and skills, this is learning by
doing, in which the students give his best to think,analyze, and to solve the provided
experiment activity. For example of a science teacher who give experimental activities to his
students and by that the students will be the one to solve the experiment given, by doing
this experiment the student will think and analyze and by this, they can solve the problem
and by that the students will gain intelligence individually or in group task.

Answer: These are the advantage and disadvantage of conflict and consensus theory: The
conflict theory sees social life as a competition, and focuses on the distribution of resources,
power, and inequality. While disadvantages are lack of research , there may not be a
scientific basic for upholding the conflict theory. Obstacle of integration ,the conflict theory
is limited to certain environment. Negative view of society , Humanitarian efforts, acts of
alteruism, democracy and civil rights movement, accordingly were designed to control the
masses rather than to promote peace and social order. While the Consensus theory
advantage, it holds as a fair system under the absence of conflict is seen as equilibrium state
of society. They concerned with the maintenance or continuation of social order in society.
And its disadvantage is whoever doesn't respect them is deviant person the rules are seen as
coercive, and who transgresses them is considered an agent of change.

Educational System and expand your answer. Determine its evident
result to the progress within.
Answer: The K to 12 Program a reform in the philippine educational system, with the
adaption of this program, according to Deped, this would be an advantage to the young
adults venturing out into the professional world. Because they would be much more
equipped to deal with the higher level of learning as they enter college. With this, they can
choose to continue their educational to higher forms which will be another great journey to
access essential learning developments. With the new curriculum the Department of
Education promises to offer higher quality education through the strands, by that K to 12
graduates will be ready to become globally competitive.
And the other one is the Free Higher Education, the reforms provided free tuition for students
enrolled in public or private higher education institutions and by the help of CHED program
many students are subsidies of this program. Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte had signed
a bill that will grant free tuition for all students attending school under CHED. Free higher
education proved to be a much needed step out of the poverty.

Conversely, Conflict Theory sees society as competitive and unequal, highlighting resource distribution and social struggle. Its disadvantage includes presenting a negative societal view and limited applicability, while its advantage lies in highlighting power dynamics and inequalities .
