Classroom Procedures

Jamie Holforty

 Positive Reinforcement-(I will make sure that I would say something positive to
the students that are working hard and using their time wisely.)

 Verbal Reminders-(I will make sure to talk to the students who are disrupting the
class, and to remind them of the expectations of the classroom.)

 Non-Verbal Communication-(I will make sure to give the students that are not
following the guidelines, a look or move closer to their desk if they are being

disrespectful.)

 Phone Call Home-(I will make sure to call home if I think it is necessary to be taken
to the parents.)

 Practicing Routines-(I will make sure to start out my year with the students in
routine. We will go over expectations multiple times, until I feel that they fully

understand what is mandatory.)

 Seat Assignment Change-(I will make sure to move students where I think they
will best learn from me and their peers.)
