ALBAFLUID® CD lubricant
DYEING AUXILIARIES
USES
Dye bath lubricant for the wet finishing of textiles of any fiber, prone to creasing, wrinkling,
crowsfeet, and chafe marking.
ALBAFLUID CD lubricant is particularly useful for processing under difficult conditions, such as in
short liquors or on heavily loaded winches and jets, and for processing heavy, crease-prone goods
and materials. It is recommended for color kitchen equipped with automatic dosing system.
.Characteristics Benefits
• Lowers textile-to-textile friction. • No formation of permanent creases during wet
finishing. Ropes open and displace more easily so
improving levelness.
• Reduces textile-to-metal friction. • Textiles run better and more dependably in
machines, no chafe marks or streaks.
• Lowers the friction coefficient of the • Higher utilization of jets, winches, paddle and
textile material. drum-type dyeing machines.
• Improved quality of results in short-liquor
processing.
• Optimizes dependability of results. • No impairment of liquor stability hence no dye
agglomeration and no quality problems with stains
and specks.
• No unlevelness more even appearance of goods.
• Has a non-permanent softening • Improved running properties of the textile material.
effect. No stiffness of viscose in wet state.

• Can be used for all goods. • Improved wet finishing results regardless of fiber.
• Is highly effective at all temperatures • Suitability for all dyeing methods.
and pH levels.
• Has no retarding effect. • Best dye yield and high reproducibility of results.
• Has ideal viscosity. • Can be used in dosing systems
• Does not impair rubbing fastness. • Excellent fastness properties.
• Generates little foam. • No foam problems in jet dyeing machines
improved run of goods.
• Does not impair the absorbency of • No effect on dyeing properties whatever the
cellulosic fibers. substrate.

APPLICATIONS
For the best effect ALBAFLUID CD lubricant should preferably be added to the treatment bath,
before the goods are entered.
Dissolving / diluting
ALBAFLUID CD lubricant is diluted by pouring on warm water and stirring, then added to the
treatment bath.
Required amount
The amount of ALBAFLUID CD lubricant required depends primarily on the sensitivity of the textile
material, the type of machinery and the level of loading.
The following amount is recommended as a guide :
®
1.0–2.0 g/l ALBAFLUID CD
NOTES
ALBAFLUID CD lubricant is suitable for use in all wet finishing processes. It is particularly effective
in preventing creases, inserted for example during washing, squeezing, boiling, milling and while
lying.
