Inventor Design Tutorial

Using a Multi-Body Part to create Solid Bodies within a part.


With the steps provided below, this process of creating multiple bodies within a part to model a reinforced hose for
use in configurations used in air and vacuum lines.

The following steps will be to:

 Make the reinforcement wire inside a hose using the coil feature

 Extrude a tube and specify that the extrusion is a new solid

Start a sketch that will set up to be use with the coil feature. This sketch describes the profile of the reinforcement
inside the hose. The axis can be a sketch that the coil will revolve around.
