REFLECTION
LDM COURSE 2 FOR TEACHERS MODULE 1 – 5

Professional Development has always been a part of a teacher’s career. It essentially


plays a vital role in flourishing new learning to improve the aspects of teaching holistically. As
such, with the whole week of attending the LDM COURSE 2 FOR TEACHERS, I can say that
I have learned a lot.

Numerous topics in relation to the chosen learning modalities were given much of the
highlights. These include the making of WHLP, ILMP, unpacking and combining of MELCS,
accessing LR portals, and many more of which I am grateful of for I am able to execute it all
through the given hands-on activities.

From these experiences, I have gained ample knowledge in overcoming the LDM
challenges and limitations as it allows me to get fully equipped with the right and current
knowledge needed to enter the battle of the new normal setting of education. Furthermore, I was
able to develop my teaching skills and learned varied strategies as I about to deal not just with
the diverse learning styles of the students but also people who were involved in our school
community as far as the restriction of face to face classes is concerned.

This 5-day seminar is indeed positively strenuous, even if sometimes we may feel tired
and find it hard to think of inputs yet we strive to be at our best, alongside with the help of our
colleagues thus making the entire session more enjoyable yet very informative. This activity had
really quenched our thirst for learning and I knew this is just few of the things that we are about
to learn, and with this I am looking forward for more. This really is a proof that teachers as
facilitators of knowledge we are always ready to embrace and apply the new learning as way to
meet the continuous demands of education.
