CONTEXT/PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE: Students know that there is an assumption that all human life originate in Africa.

Intro: Students will be asked to brainstorm for a list of tools they might
need if they lived ten thousand years ago.
Development:

1. Students will engage in group discussion and will be given one


tool used in the days of the Africans. They will guess how this
tool was used.
2. Teacher will say if the group gave the correct answer or not
and will add necessary moifications.
3. Students will watch a short video on the ancient technology of
the Africans

Conclusion: At the end of the session, teacher will give an assignment


where students will make a model of any technology/tool used by the
Africans and will bring it to class to display.

Lesson 3
Students will watch a film called “The Real Eve” that talks about the first
humans and where we came from.

Assignment:
 Interview two senior persons based on what they think  African and Maya history E-reader. - Students will appreciate history as it tells us
