Aspects of verbs expresses actions that happened at an indefinite time.
The past perfect tense takes place before another past action.
Examples: Suddenly he remembered where he had hidden the money.
We had not been at the party long when Jack arrived.
The present perfect tense connects the past with the present. It states that something began in
the past and it continues to the present. We usually use for or since in the sentence.
Examples: It has rained for days.
My friends have known Tina since high school.
The future perfect tense takes place before another action in the future.
Examples: When you get this message, I will have left for New York.
By the end of the month, she will have completed the English course.
