good evening teacher, I'm going to introduce myself
My name is Ana María Borda Contreras at home they call me Ana and my friends call me
Anita. In my case, I’m not okay with my name I would have liked to be called Nihan
because it is the name of my favorite Turkish actress. I am 21 years old and I’m piscis due
to the fact that I was born on March 6 th. Plus, I’m from Lima Peru and my parents’ family
are from Apurimac (my father’s family is from Lucre Apurimac and my mother’s family is
from Aymaraes Apurimac). Regarding my location, I live in Comas close to Cesar Vallejo
University 2 hours away from CUINAC. I get there by bus Palmari to the university avenue
then take another bus to the avenue Santa Rosa and finally walk 6 blocks. I live in a house
of 3 floods with my parents and siblings. I study English and I’m in intermediate 7. I study
environmental engineering at Callao University, I’m in the 8th semester. I don’t work for the
moment. Concerning my family, we are 9 members. My father’s name is Juan he is 65
years old, his favorite food is beef jerky. My mother’s name is Teresa she is 60 years old,
her favorite food is causa rellena. My sister’s name is Rosa. My brother’s name are:
Antonio, Julio, Victor and Juan Carlos. My dog’s name is Scott.
In relation to my hobbies I love watching action movies. Among my favorite movies are:
Avengers End Game, World War Z, The Purge and Inferno. Nevertheless, my favorite film
is Inferno and it's about overpopulation and the environmental and health problems that
they bring. My favorite dish is
meat lasagna. On the other hand, I don’t like
tomatoes, peppers and liver. I love listening to pop, Turkish and Indian music.
I like to play volleyball, paint pictures. With regard to my preferences my favorite sport is
volleyball, I would like to join a professional sports group in the future.
I am interested in travelling to Norway because it has been recognized several times as the
happiest country in the world that means that it is a country where there is quality of life,
people enjoy good health, education and economy services.
Now, I would like to tell you about a visit. I went to Pozuzo, Oxapampa last year by bus. I
went there with my classmates. I stayed there 3 days. In Pozuzo, I ate traditional dishes for
instance Brennsuppe (roasted cornmeal soup) and curiously I drank craft beer. Besides, I
visited the Schafferer museum, the Colonos cemetery in the German colony of Pozuzo. It
was a lovely and exciting experience. There, I could buy several souvenirs. I especially
bought myself a quartz necklace.
Last, I think the visit cost me around 380 soles (which included lodging, food and
transportation) for my next trip I would like to go to Ancash.
Furthermore, I would like to talk about my experiences. In my case I have been to the
Huacachina lagoon of Ica twice time. It is a wonderful place. I have never been to Mancora.
I'd love to go. And I have never tried eat suri however I have eaten tocosh.
Lastly, I would like to talk about my future. I study Environmental Engineering; however, I
would also like to study as a second career Chemical Engineering. Regarding my plans, I
am looking for pre-professional internships about my career and I would love to be able to
practice at the Ministry of the Environment or large companies like Coca Cola, Kimberly
Clark. For this
I am taking refresher courses as a safety and environment graduate. And I am going to
continue taking other software courses related to my career to thereby train myself better
professionally, what I want is to be more competitive.
I want to carry out myself professionally, to travel to know other cultures, customs.
In relation to my long-term plans, I have thought that I am going to apply for an
international scholarship to be able to study a master's degree.
I would like to study in Brazil or Norway. In these countries, for example, Norway is
known as a green country that develops renewable energy technologies such as solar,
hydraulic energy. It is a country that takes great care of the environment and that allows its
inhabitants to have a better quality of life. There deforestation is prohibited and this was a
measure they took to combat climate change. As for Brazil, it is a country that develops
research and technology in water treatment, a vital resource for humanity. I would like to
learn what countries develop in that and be able to apply and develop them in my country.
