Leveraging Dedication in Job Interviews

Thank you for the opportunity. I believe I would be a great fit for this role based on my relevant experience and strong work ethic. While I may still have areas for growth, I am committed to continuously learning and improving. If selected, I will work hard to contribute value and help the company achieve its goals. Do you have any other questions for me?

1. How do you feel today?

I am a little nervous, because this is my first job interview and the first
company that I applied. It is also an honor to be one of the lucky applicants
who will be interviewed today of your company.
How about ma’am? How are you today?
Follow up: Tell me about yourself
I am a resilient individual that can work under pressure and can easily adapt to the
work environment, yes, and has a leadership quality and has an ability to work
efficiently with a team. A self-directed, goal-oriented doer, a confident, driving
individual who reacts quickly to change and lastly willing to learn new approaches
in collaborate work environment and share knowledge openly.

2. How did you learn about the opening?

I saw your job post on the Job street. And while reading the job description I
realized that I have a good knowledge and skills you are looking for. So, I did
some research on the company and found out it is a good opportunity to me and
I can actually use my knowledge, experience and skills for the betterment of
this community with you.
3. Tell me about the time you disagreed with a decision. What did you do?
so we had this group activity once, there's 7 people in a group but only 6 of
us were consistently showing up to help complete our task. When the time
came that it's only one day before we present our project, our group was
discussing whether we allow our groupmate who barely contributed
anything to present with us, Most of my groupmates said yes, we should
allow him. But i dont think that'd be fair for the rest of us. I also dont want to
risk having our grades dragged down by a single member that has little to no
idea what we were doing since group grade is also a big part of our final
grading So i stood my ground. I said no. I told them why i disagreed and we
all came to a compromise. We talked to our professor and the student was given a
special project that he has to do all by himself

4. What are your biggest strength and weaknesses?

 Well my biggest strength is that I am Self-control, talking initiative and
have a dedication on the work.
And if this job will be given to me, I will ensure that all the job that is
assigned to me is properly booked and I can actually even stay up late at
night to put out fires across different time zones just only to submit on time
the work that I needed to accomplish. I am eager to be one of the reasons of
the growth of a one company and I am happy to work with the company that
has a good environment. And for my weaknesses one of that is I am being
too quiet and socially shy especially presenting in everyone who’s faces are
new to my sight. Although I am still willing to flip a switch and making an
instant transformation from being quiet to an extrovert just only to ensure
my survival to a company. I have been taking baby steps and putting myself
out there, interacting more with others, striking up conversations,
participating in some activities that can boost up my confidence,
volunteering in events such as organizing staff baby showers and planning
birthday celebrations. As a result of these I can say that it has an
improvement at all.

5. Where do you see yourself 3 years from now?

Well, I can see myself as a working individual with the same company that I have
applied and the best accounting staff one could possibly be and continuously
growing and advancing in my career over the next few years. I envision
performing at a higher level to meet and even exceed my performance goals. And
lastly, I envision performing my job at a progressively higher level with more
responsibilities.

6. Out of all the candidates why should we hire you?

You should hire me because I have the skills in terms of

 Analytical: Computing, checking, compliance, attention to detail,
accuracy
 Communication: Both written and oral communication
 Computer Literate (Microsoft Office): Word, Excel, PowerPoint
