Chapter 12: My future plans

Name: Olaya Monserrat Martínez Espinosa

Date: 17/05/2020 Group: 009 /212

I have think about this a lot, but I don’t have for sure what I want in my future and
that scares me, because my time is ending. I often think about my future, as I am
about to finish university in a couple years, I am sure I want to make a master, and
a lot of things related with my career. So I think this essay will help me to figure out
what I want for my future, I think it is really important to start writing your goals in
life, this would help you to achieve them in a better way.
The first plan I want to talk about is:
- The internship
As I have mention in the past few essays my principal goal in a few years is to go
to study my career to another country, I really want to have the experience of
traveling alone, learning a new language or culture, studying what I love with a
difference perspective and meeting people and places.
- Finish the career.
Think this big step of finish university would be my first real goal, I mean one of the
most important of my life, my plan is to finish university with good grades to have
better opportunities to find a job.
- Have a job
I am so excited of finding the job of my dreams, I don’t figure it out yet, but I have
something for sure and what I believe is that my job should be like a hobby, I want
to work in something that makes me happy every single day of my life, I think that
would be having a consulting room and being a therapist of kids, then I want to be
a job partner of my sister that studies nutrition, and complement what we know and
help other people.
- Travel
After having an established work, I want to travel a lot, it would be nice to travel
with friends, but don’t mind doing it alone, by myself, my dream in life is the
traveling, I want to travel for a couple years and maybe go to live to Spain or some
place in Europe.
- Have a family
What I want most in life is to have kids and form a family with my husband, I really
want this, I want to have kids at my 29s, I think is the perfect age. But before this I
want to travel a lot with my husband and then have kids.
As you can see, I have big plans for my future. I plan to make something of myself,
and not to give up. I have a major fear of failure, and I won't let it get to me. My
parents expect a lot out of me, and I think I have done a good job so far.
My dreams are what keep me going; they are an object for me to strive for. I will
obtain that object one day. But for now I will work a lot to achieve everything I set
out to do in this life.
