• Look at each page in turn.
• Ask the children to guess the word under the picture.
• Reveal the word under the yellow tile. Ask: 'what does it say
now?'
• Each page should reinforce the key word.
Pages 6 and 7
Look at the pictures and talk about emotions. Talk about their own
experiences or those of brothers or sisters. What does the boy in
the
picture feel at the various points in the story? Did the children think
of any of the words covered up?
Use the notebook tools to jot down other ideas.
