SUBJECT: God And Human Life TIME: 11:30 A.M.- 1:00 P.M.

TOPIC LOG 9
UNITY OF MAN’S NATURE
1. What did you learn from this topic?

I learned that the soul co-defines with the meaning of the word man, but in a different way
that they do not relate with each other. A soul, in Greek word psyche is the embodiment of a
living person, living or non-living. I learned that we often reason out soul as a ghost, but it is the
polar opposite. A soul is like a person too. I learned that the unity of man’s nature can exist as an
element of two, namely the mind and the soul. I learned that the components of the nature can be
instilled to as a spirit and soul. Thus, I learned that we should not be afraid of souls, because we
are souls too. I learned that when we die, the element of the body disappears which makes us a
soul alone.

2. How did it make an impact to you?

The openness of the topic to grasp the difference between the two components had signified
a lot of realizations in my behalf. It made my heart open to things that I used to practice. When I
opened my heart to the duality of man’s nature, it made me realize that difference of the spirit as
an immaterial thing whilst body is the material component of man. I have been relived to the
point of my life that I should differ my spirituality to the worldly acts of the earth. I also
integrated a lot of knowledge that helped me differ hoe I would never live my body without the
spirit, that the two things are inseparable and works hand in hand. I realized how important life is
that if we die, our body becomes to dust, and we become the soul, a soul that cannot bring back
all the things that he had done, because death periods the longevity of living in this world.

3. How will you apply it in your personal life?

At this account, I need to be able to spend my time wisely, that I need to recalculate all the
decisions that I am currently doing in life. For the betterment of my faith integration, I need to be
able to contribute to the workings of God in disseminating the good news of the second coming
of the Lord. I need to be make myself a good temple of God, since my life is a borrowed one. I
need to make sure that all my actions would be glorifying in the sight of the Lord. Be it said, I
need to make my life better, not for the secularity of this sinful world, but to make a difference in
my spiritual life that could make a domino reaction to all that my environment encompasses.
