Project Scope Statement

Project: Wilmont Pharmacy Drone Project Revision No.: 0

Revision Date: 27 August 2020

Purpose: The purpose of this project is for DroneTech to provide the drone technology and its
expertise in operating the drones that will be used for delivering prescriptions and drugstore
items to customers in San Francesco area.

Project Goals: The project’s goal is to efficiently deliver Wilmont’s product and services to
customers. If the project is successfully completed this will result in the continual of drone
technology development in other locations where Wilmont Pharmacy operates.

Project Scope Description: The Wilmont’s Pharmacy Drone project includes the following Scope
elements;

Drones – The project should design and provide drones to be used for delivering Wilmont’s
pharmacy prescriptions.

Project Scope

1. Customize our (DroneTech) systems, interfaces, and business process to Wilmont’s


Pharmacy requirements.
2. Engineer a drone to Wilmont specification with special adaptation for the planned
temperature‐controlled product bagging system along with a bubble‐type cushioning
system for the customer delivery packaging.

Services Scope

1. Handle piloting the drones and delivery of the products


2. Interface communications about deliveries for Wilmont’s customers electronically
through email, online, and through mobile alerts as the customer requests.
Primary Deliverables :

1. Customization of DroneTech’s existing interface to Wilmont’s to accommodate order entry.


2. Communication of Wilmont’s clients ldelivery confirmation.
3. Customization of DroneTech’s existing systems to Wilmont’s
4. Customization of DroneTech’s existing business process to Wilmont’s
5. Modification of Drone to include a temperature‐controlled product bagging system and a
bubble‐type cushioning system.

Deliverable Acceptance Criteria:

1. Meet Wilmont’s requirement to accommodate order entry, communication of delivery


confirmation.

2. Meet requirement of customizing DroneTech’s existing systems to Wilmont’s

3. Meet requirement of customizing DroneTech’s existing business process to Wilmont’s

4. Meet requirement of modifying DroneTech’s Drone to include a temperature‐controlled


product bagging system and a bubble‐type cushioning system.

• Drone Design: January 28, 2021.

• Drone Development: April 11,2021.

• Flight Operations Enhancement and Interfaces: May

• Stakeholder Project Status Update: June 27, 2021.

• Testing and Implementation: September 13, 2021.

• Project Close: November 30,2021.

Constraints:
• Contract Negotiation is pending: Agreement on all aspects of the services to be
provided, and/or the cost of the services is not yet reached between Wilmont and
Dronetech

Assumptions:

1. In-house budget cap (by Jordan Kempler, CEO - DroneTech)

2. All Materials/parts is sourced inhouse – DroneTech & Wilmont Pharmacy.

Scope Exclusions:

• Billing rates for Wilmont’s personnel involved will not be included
