What is your LAN requirements?
Mikrotik’s ethernet ports are flexible. Every ports can be configured differently. Your LAN
requirements would help us determine what to configure to the device that you are purchasing.

How many networks?
Specify network designation: Example: Engineering, Accounting, Marketing
Port assignment: Example: Ether2 – Engineering
Ether3 - Accounting
Ether4 and 5 - Marketing

Do you require Port Forwarding?
Mikrotik RouterBoard is capable of port forwarding. Port forwarding is commonly used to
make services on the internal client to be available on the external client side by remapping the
destination IP address and port number of the communication to the internal client. If needed,
specify your requirements below.
Sample
Local IP (source of traffic): [Link] or ISP1 or Ether1
Protocol: TCP Port: 400
Public IP (where to be forwarded): [Link]
To Port/s: 3999

What is your wireless requirements?
Some RouterBoard have built-in wireless card/s commonly used for wi-fi connections. If you
are in need of wireless configuration, kindly fill-up the form below. (Note: Wireless
configuration still depends if the unit has/have wireless cards and/or how many wireless
cards it have.)
Wireless
Enable wireless? YES NO Note: If “NO”, proceed to firewall requirements
2.4Ghz WLAN Card
SSID: Password:
Frequency: AUTO Preferred Others: ______GHz
Note: If preferred is marked, the tech team will be the one to assign the frequency.
5GHz WLAN Card
SSID: Password:
Frequency: AUTO Preferred Others: ______GHz
Note: If preferred is marked, the tech team will be the one to assign the frequency.
Hotspot
Enable Hotspot? YES NO Note: If “NO”, proceed to firewall requirements

Hotspot IP: Hotspot Subnet:
Initials Username: Initial Password:
Note: Mikrotik’s default landing page will be used for this configuration
Other wireless configuration
User-manager: YES NO Note: User-manager is used for voucher creation. This is
advisable for Hotel, Café’s, Malls, etc.
CAPsMAN: YES NO Note: Controlled Access Point system Manager allows to
centralize multiple access point to the main router. This
is advisable for companies who will deploy large
number
of access points in a certain area.
Note: If complex wireless configuration is needed, place a note at the Remarks section
What is your firewall requirements?
Mikrotik has a built-in firewall for router security and safety, network separation, traffic
shaping and many more. Firewall NAT is a default configuration for internet connection.
Basic firewall protection
Personalized Security Port YES NO If yes, specify port: _______
Note: Personalized security port is used for accessing the router through different servicing applications
Advance firewall protection
Ping Flood Block: YES NO Note: This configuration denies the attacker by blocking
numerous amount of ICMP “echo request” (ping)
packets.
Port Scan YES NO Note: This configuration secures your router by blocking the
attacker on scanning the available ports on your
Attack Block: network.
DOS Attack Block: YES NO Note: This configuration blocks the flooding of superfluous
requests to your router in an attempt to overload your
device.
DDOS Attack Block: YES NO Note: This configuration blocks DOS attacks coming from
multiple locations at the same time.
DNS Attack Block: YES NO Note: This configuration blocks the attacker by tricking the
domain name system servers’ look-up requests in to
hiding the source of the exploit and directing the
response to the target.
Web Proxy YES NO Note: This configuration blocks malicious web proxy attacks
that can cause malfunction to your main server router.
Attack Block:
Port Knocking: YES NO Note: This configuration adds security to your router by
creating an additional attempting method on the firewall
ports before a person can access the router.
Note: If complex firewall configuration is needed, place a note at the Remarks section
What websites do you want to
block?
Mikrotik is capable of website blocking and filtering as well as allowing specific website for a
specific IP.
Blocked websites
Websites Block all IP or specific IP only
Example: Porn Sites Example: [Link] (VIP IP)
Torrent : All IP or whole subnet

Websites Allow all IP or specific IP only
Example: Facebook Example: [Link] (VIP IP)
Government Sites All IP or whole subnet
Note: If more allowing and blocking of websites are needed, place a note at the Remarks section
What is your bandwidth allocation?
Mikrotik’s Quality of Service (QoS) serves as a bandwidth controller for the device. With the
device, we can control the bandwidth allocation for a specific IP or website.
Customized setup
Websites IP List Bandwidth (down/up)
Example: Social Media Example: Local IP Example: 512k/256k
