MR AHOK KUMAR and I was made ware about the
company how it started what are their objectives and
what are their missions. I was made aware about their
process how does the exactly export and import works.
First of all I was made aware about how really the
export and import works. What are the steps?
I was made aware about certain terms which are
frequently used in export imports industry. I was made
aware about various bills and documents which are
mandatory in export import industry.
First of all I was made ware about their export import
procedures how actually their process goes on:
Import procedure:
Trade enquiry
Placing the indent
Dispatching a letter of credit
Obtaining necessary documents
Custom formalities and clearing of goods
Making the payment
1. Trade enquiry
An enquiry is written request form the intending
byer or its agent for information regarding the
prices and terms on which the supplier will be able
to supply the goods.
2. Placing indent or order
The order is known as indent. It contains the
information from the importer so as to the
quantity and quality of goods required, methods
for forwarding them
In open indent all the necessary particular of
goods prices etc. are not mentioned
A confirmatory indent is one where an order is
placed subject to confirmation by the importer
agent.
3. Dispatching letter Of credit
Exporter wants to be sure there is no risk of non-
payment. Usually for this process he asks the
importer to send a letter of credit to him. A letter
of credit is popularly known as L/C.
4. Obtaining necessary documents
On the recipe of letter of credit the exporter
arranges the shipment of gods and sends an advice
note to the importer immediately after shipment
of goods.
The exporter then draws a bill of exchange on the
importer for the invoice of value of goods.
The shipping documents such as the bill of lading,
certificate or origin, customer invoice etc. also
attached to a bill of exchange.
Such bill of exchange with all these attached
documents is called documentary bill.
Documentary bill of exchange is forwarded to
importer through a foreign exchange bank which
has a branch or an agent in the importer country
for collecting payments of bill.
5. Custom formalities and clearing of
goods
After receiving the documents of title of the
goods, the importer only concerns is to take the
delivery of the goods when the ship arrives at the
port and to bring them to his own place of
business.
6. Making the payments.
The mode and timing of payments is determined
according to the terms and conditions as agreed to

The organisational stucture of organisation is quite
good. But still there are many internal deficiencies
which effects the company to achieving the goal.
Many employees in the organisation are very much
experienced, the

There are many opportunities that help the organisation
to achieve the objectives.
The Reputation of organisation is very good .The main
factor of their
Good fame in the market is they provide excellent client
service. They have strong relationship with existing
clients.
One of the major circumstances that goes in the favour
of the organisation is that clients are more concern

very good among all the competitors in the market
.Finest quality and affordable price attracts more and
more customers towards the company .

Years there is increase in the company distributorship.
This one of biggest
Circumstances for the organisation.
