Fixed Base Design for Packing Hall

1) The document details the design of a fixed base plate for a checking and packing hall. Forces and dimensions of steel sections are provided. 2) Dimensions of the base plate are specified as 130cm by 42cm. Welds for vertical and horizontal connections are designed and found to be safe. 3) Design of anchor bolts connecting the base plate to a concrete pedestal is presented, including bolt diameter, embedment length, and design of a bearing washer plate where required. 4) Bending moment on a 1cm strip of the base plate is calculated to determine the minimum required base plate thickness of 20mm.
