-ch and –sh digraphs
• This pack focuses on differentiating between the –ch and –sh
digraphs.
• Please note, these sorting cards can be used together comparing –ch
and –sh, or separately depending on your students and their ability
levels.
• Each set of cards has been leveled, containing a low, medium, and
high level of ability when using the sorting cards and center/small
group activities.
LEVELS
• Highest Level(Card Set 1):These cards contain 6 pictures for the –sh digraph
and 6 pictures for the –ch digraph. The pictures contain no word or letter
clues, challenging your students to look at the picture and sound them out on
their own.
• Medium Level(Card Set 2):These cards contain 6 pictures for the –sh digraph
and 6 pictures for the –ch digraph. The pictures contain the beginning letter
cues, but are missing the ending –ch or –sh sound, challenging your students
to look at the picture and the beginning sounds to figure out which digraph
ends each word.
• Lowest Level(Card Set 3):These cards contain 6 pictures for the –sh digraph
and 6 pictures for the –ch digraph. The pictures contain the words to match
the picture. This will challenge your students to SORT their words into the –ch
category or the –sh category.
