NCC Camp Report at Vel Tech College

Three cadets from VEL TECH HIGH TECH Dr.RANGARAJAN Dr.SAKUNTHALA ENGINEERING COLLEGE participated in a 10-day NCC CATC and RDC camp held from October 11-20, 2019 at SRI SAI RAM ENGINEERING COLLEGE in Tambaram. Over 300 cadets attended the camp where they participated in events like contingent drill, guards of honour, PM rally, flag area and line area competitions. The cadets found the overall camp experience to be excellent for learning competitiveness and handling competition.

OVERALL CAMP EXPIRENCE :

 Overall 300 cadets attended the CATC cum RDC IGCcamp.


 The camp started on 11/10/19 .
 On 11/10/19, we had submitted the camp documents and had full warm-up in PT parade by PI staffs .
 RDC training was taken under the control of Hav karuppasamy sir and Hav anbazhagan sir .
 The second day we had contingent drill competition .
 The fifth day we had Guards of honour competition .
 The sixth day we had PM Rally competition.
 The seventh day we had flag area and line area competitions.
 The eight day we had prize distribution .
 Madras 'A' secured first place in SD and SW contingent drill and in group dance, secured second place in
PM Rally, Niap, Group song and flag area .
 The overall camp experience was excellent. We learnt about the competitiveness for RDC and also learned
how to handle competition and peer pressure.
