Board Exam Review Assessment Report

Engr. Christine Carbonel monitored and supported 17 civil engineering reviewees in their preparations for the board examinations in October and November 2019. Activities included assessing students' performance on pre-board exams, assisting with the application process, additional coaching and mock exams. While most students performed well, some faced added anxiety due to the last-minute change in allowed calculators and rumors of an increased exam difficulty. Engr. Carbonel helped reduce students' stress through reflection sessions and encouraging them to find relief in spiritual activities like church visits.
