Accounting Systems in Aurora Banks

ABSTRACT

This study aims to identify how many percentages of banks who use Manual

Accounting System and Computerized Accounting System in Roxas, Isabela, the problems

encountered while using and the help of the system to the performance of the bank in terms

of Accounting. The respondents were the manager or an accountant in every bank or

organization.

This research used quantitative research design in a descriptive method because it

employs a structured questionnaire as the main data gathering tool. Before conducting the

research, the researchers asked permission in the different banks or organization if they can

allow researchers to conduct a survey. We collected data by using survey questionnaires with

a letter of consent. The researchers found out that the majority of the banks or organizations

are currently using Computerized Accounting System. Based on the results, the researchers

conclude that the majority of the banks or organizations preferred to use Computerized

Accounting System because of its convenience and makes the work faster than Manual

Accounting System.
