Choose a topic in the advanced sessions
I. OVERVIEW
This project aims to help student to show that they can undertake an independent
research about a topic of the advanced level. This is group work and each team will
choose a topic in Session 1. The advanced topic project includes two parts: 1) a 15-
minute video clip submission and 2) Q&A evaluation of the group topic in class.
Assessment 1: Submission of video clip (Real- setting market)
Each team is expected to design a 15 minutes video clip. Each team show an
understanding of basic knowledge regarding the topic that you choose. The video
clip will be evaluated against the assessment rubric as follows
Assessment 2: Q&A evaluation of the group performance
Each group will need to be active in making questions to the other groups in all
sessions from session 11 to 14. Each team members will also need to participate in
the class in handling questions from the lectures and the classmates. The group
performance will be evaluated against the assessment rubric as follows.

II. REQUIREMENTS
Assessment 1: Submission of video clip (Real- setting market)
This is an oral presentation that will be captured in the video clip. The
duration is of 15 to 20 minutes. All the members are required to conduct the
presentation.
The group updates the reference sources clearly and submits an internet
link to the video (write the group member's name, contribution of each
member) on the eLearning before the deadline.
Assessment 2: Q&A evaluation of the group performance
The lecturer will hand out copies of a criteria form. All the groups are required to
write an assessment of the presentation according to criteria and then make
questions to the presented group. Students need to discuss the responses as a
class. The duration of the Q&A is of 30 minutes at the beginning of each session.
