Habitat 67 was designed by Moshe Safdie as the Canadian Pavilion for Expo 67. It was intended as an experimental solution for high-density urban housing. The building consists of 354 identical prefabricated concrete modules stacked and connected in various combinations to form apartments of different shapes and sizes. Each apartment is formed by grouping one to four of the 600 square foot modules.
