 FEAR is classified further into three specific emotions: fear of not being loved, fear of
being left behind, and fear of the unknown.

Eg. OFW, extortion, financial pressure, peer pressure, insecurities

 ANGER is associated as “galit sa pamilya”, “galit sa pera”, and “galit sa mundo”.

Eg. Splurging or overspending, deprivation before

 GUILT is explained into these situations: guilt of leaving the family, guilt because of
affluence, and guilt for the sins of others.

Eg. Guilt When You Are Not Able to Help Financially, Guilt Because You Are Well Off and Your Relatives

• Your spouse or life partner
• Your parents

 ENVY is caused by the accomplishment of others and by what others can afford.

Eg. we put immense pressure upon ourselves to perform what was expected from us by society,

 SHAME is expounded as shame in bringing dishonour to the family name, covering up reality
with luxuries one cannot afford, and “hiya”.

 Eg. involves salvaging the family’s name, covering up our realities with luxuries that we can’t afford,
pretensions
