1. Looking at your answer in the first question of the Pre-Assessment, how are you going to
conduct and verify the results of your finding? Which method are you going to employ and
why?

The finding tells us that there is a correlation between attractiveness and intelligence. In order to
conduct and verify the results of the finding. I will conduct a research following the scientific method
and will verify through different research instruments, like interviews, questionnaire, survey,
experiments, and others. I will interview the participants about their view regarding the said finding
and analyze their answers. Or another, give them IQ tests and compare the results of the scores of
attractive and unattractive ones. The method I will use will be correlational method, in order to know
and verify if there really is a relationship between intelligence and attractiveness. whether it is direct,
inverse, perfect, or no relationship at all.

2. What was your answer in number two? Did you answer “yes” or “no”? What are the possible
factors that can affect the way we perceive reality?

No, we do not share the same reality. We have different experiences in life and we deal with it the
way we want it. I answered no because there are different possible factors that can affect the way we
perceive reality. First, characteristic of the perceiver, his/her moods, motives, self-concept, interest,
cognitive structure and others. Second, characteristics of the Target, the verbal and non-verbal cues
like gestures, paralanguage, facial expression, and physical appearance. Lastly, characteristics of the
situation, strength of the situational cues also affect how we perceive.
