1 (Mga pagbabagong nagaganap sa sarili sa panahon ng
pagdadalaga/pagbibinata )
What I Need to Know/ Alamin
Madalas mo bang tingnan ang sarili mo sa salamin nitong mga nagdaang
araw? Marahil napapansin mo na ang malaki mong pagbabago mula noong ikaw ay
nasa mga unang taon mo sa elementarya. Marami ka ng ginagawa noon na ayaw
mo ng gawin ngayon. At maging ang mga tao sa iyong paligid ay napapansin mong
nag-iiba na ng kanilang paraan ng pakikitungo sa iyo.
Nalilito ka na ba? Minsan tinatawag kang bata; minsan naman ay sinasabing
dalaga o binata ka na. Nakalilito talaga. Ikaw ay nasa yugto ng buhay mo na
tinatawag na panahon ng unti-unting pagbabago (transition period) o paglipat mula
sa isang yugto ng buhay patungo sa susunod. Ikaw ngayon ay tumatahak sa yugto
ng pagdadalaga o pagbibinata (adolescence). Upang lubos na makilala ang sarili,
napakarami mong kailangang maunawan tungkol sa yugtong ito.
Sa modyul na ito, inaasahang maipamamalas mo ang mga sumusunod na
kaalaman, kakayahan at pag-unawa
a. Natutukoy ang mga pagbabago sa sarili mula sa gulang na 8 o 9
hanggang sa kasalukuya
b. Napaphalagahan ang pagkakaroon ng tiwala sa sarili
c. Naisasagawa ang mga angkop na hakbang tungo sa paglinang ng apat na
inaasahang kakayahan at kilos (developmental tasks) sa panahon ng
pagdadalaga/pagbibinata
Ang modyul na ito ay sadyang binuo upang maunawaan mong mabuti ang
mga aralin sa Edukasyon sa Pagpapahalaga I kahit hindi ka makapasok sa paaralan
nang regular. Upang maging lubos ang iyong pag-unawa sa mga nilalaman ng
aralin, sundin mo nang tapat ang sumusunod na tagubilin:
1. Basahin ang modyul ayon sa pagkakasunud-sunod ng mga gawain.
2. Unawaing mabuti ang nilalaman ng paksang-aralin.
3. Basahin at sundin ang mga panuto at ibang tagubilin.
4. Pag-isipang mabuti ang sagot sa bawat tanong bago ito isulat sa tanging
kuwaderno sa Edukasyon sa Pagpapahalaga.
5. Maging tapat sa iyong sarili sa lahat ng pagkakataon. Laging isaalang-
alang ang iyong puso at damdamin sa pagsagot sa mga tanong. Gamiting
gabay ang layuning matuto at mapaunlad ang sariling pagkatao sa lahat ng
mga gawain.
6. Magtanong sa guro, magulang, kamag-aral o kaibigan kung kailangan.
7. Maging matiyaga sa pag-aaral. Huwag mawalan ng pag-asa kahit
nahihirapan.
Bago simulan ang gawain sa modyul, sagutin mo ang mga sumusunod na
panimulang pagsubok.
