Impact of Covid-19 on Online Learning

Covid-19 has changed the student's life by shifting learning online, giving more time with family but less with friends, and limiting daily activities. Through online classes, the student has gained competence by learning new things and perspectives to teach, conscience by understanding both advantages and disadvantages of online learning, and compassion for lecturers' efforts. The student has learned to use apps like Moodle, Zoom, Skype, Google Drive and YouTube for classes. While finding online classes tiring, the student is enthusiastic about new learning media experiences and will prepare fully for online final assessments.

REFLECTIONS
1. How Covid-19 has changed your life (as students, as family, as friends,
and so on)
a. As a student
 Change the way of learning from face to face to online
learning.
 Because the way of learning is changed to online learning, I
have experience using applications that I have never used
before such as zoom, skype, etc.
 Using the application as a substitute for face-to-face
learning media is quite helpful. But, it is no more effective
than face-to-face learning.
b. As family
 I have more time for my family because previously I stayed
at boarding house.
c. As friends
 I rarely communicate and meet with my friends because of
social distencing.
d. In daily actovoties
 My daily activities change greatly. Everything becomes
limited.
2. What you have learned through online classes during Covid-19
(competence, conscience, and compassion)
a. Competence
 From this online hearing many new things that I get and
experience. Open my horizons and give me a view as a
teacher when something unexpected happens like this in the
future.

b. Conscience
 Students and lecturers alike experienced this difficult
period of Covid-19, so they better understand and try to
accept all the advantages and disadvantages of online
learning in such circumstances.
c. Compassion
 I really respect and appreciate the efforts of the lecturers
who keep trying to convey their knowledge in this difficult
time.
3. How you have learned during Covid-19 (the apps you use, the data you
use)
 Moodle, zoom, skype, google drive, youtube, etc

4. How you feel about online classes during Covid-19

 Very tiring
 Enthusiastic with all the new experiences about media for
online learning.
5. What you would do to prepare for online final tests/projects
 Learn everything with everything I've learned.
