Project Management

§  Manages the development using project management methodologies, tools and procedures of the
organization in compliance with the applicable IT standards
§  Aware of ISM Processes including Incident Management, Problem Management and Change
Management.
§  Supervises requirements management, design, development, testing, documentation, and user
acceptance.
§  Assists in the development, validation, and testing of the deliverables.
§  Creates, owns and manages the project plan – including scope, schedule and budget
§  Provides required reporting promptly and efficiently and organizes required milestone meetings.
§  Defines performance goals for the team, manages the team and attends to the personal
development of self and team.
§  Prepares and reviews documentation.
§  Manages internal and external resources, including vendor and service partners in cooperation with
pillar head. As required; recruits, develops, and motivates project team members.
§  Reviews, identifies, mitigates risk and manages stakeholder expectations
§  Plans and conducts with PMO Manager, regular technical and project management reviews
§  Ensures that Health, Safety and Environmental issues are taken into account throughout project
execution and in the design of the deliverables protect team members, users and stakeholders.
§  Assures that the Quality of the deliverables in accordance with customer expectations through good
communication with the project's stakeholders.
§  Ensures that the all procurement of third party services in compliance with Schlumberger’s
procurement and sourcing standards, and monitor the supplier performances in accordance with
defined contracts and SLAs.
§  Ensures that Intellectual Property (IP) developed in the Center is properly protected through the
patent process.
§  Ensures adherence to company policies for Trade Control Compliance (TCC) where applicable
§  Understands Functionality of Celonis
§  Understands OCC and able to drive plan for OCC Ramp-up with overview in both Technical
Monitoring and Business Process Monitoring

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential qualifications
§  Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics,
Mathematics or other numerical discipline.
§  ITIL V3 Certified
§  PMP Certified
§  Agile Certified

Key competencies
§  10 years+ overall experience, 6+ years’ experience in managing complex projects
§  Experience with project management software – Microsoft Project or Primavera
§  Software development or IT systems development experience is essential
§  Technology experience in one of the following domains is preferred: big data, analytics, data ware
housing, data integration systems, ERP deployments (preferably SAP).

§  Ability to manage without authority and influence
§  Strong negotiation skills
§  Self-driven, proactive especially for managing risks
§  Open to travel abroad and in India
§  Comfortable working across time-zones (open to shifts) and people of different nationalities
§  Excellent communication skills & ability to present to large groups
§  Fluent in English and a confident speaker
