Life Essay
Throughout high school, I have learned so much. One of the most important life
lessons that I have learned is to always try your hardest and do not procrastinate. During
most of my time in high school, I did not try that hard and I barely made it with my
grades. I always thought that school was boring and that the work was pointless and a
waste of time, but if I would have put more time into it, I would have realized that school
is a lot more interesting and not as horrible as I thought it was. In addition to not trying, I
always procrastinate and I always did all my work at the last minute. At the end of the
day, it just made doing the work more stressful than it had to be. Procrastination is not a
good thing and I would not recommend people to wait until the last night to do their
work, even if it sounds like a good idea. I wish I would have used my agenda and wrote
down everything I had to do before the work was actually due. If I would have tried a
little harder in high school, my grades would be significantly better since I would not
have as many missing assignments and I would have understood more of what we were
doing in class. In college, I do not plan on procrastinating and I plan on trying my hardest
on all of the work I do. If I had to tell someone one thing that I learned in high school, it
would be to not mess around and procrastinate, and always put your best effort into your
work.
