29th -3 0 t h M ay 2 02 0
The present crisis due to COVID19 has
put everything at stake. It has partially
hit the traditional form of classroom
education. Across the globe, schools,
colleges and universities are not completely
functional for an indefinite time-period.
Under such circumstances, alternate
methods of delivering course content
have replaced traditional teaching.
However, it is still debatable whether the
alternate methods of language teaching
are effective or not. The School of Indian
and Foreign Languages, Garden City
University is conducting its an online
international conference to discuss and
understand the various challenges faced
by the academicians (teachers, university
professors) while teaching language and
literature through alternate modes of
technology. Moreover, the conference
is open to different solutions, ideas,
innovations in language teaching during
this crisis, that will make an effective impact
on students. During these two months
learning has taken a different route away
from the conventional system. Keeping this
in mind we call for original papers from
across the globe from academicians and
students, with a view to researching on
language teaching and learning to win over
the critical predicament.
Participants may choose any
of the following subthemes:
• Using alternate platforms for language
teaching
• Communication during online teaching
