Objectives

After discussing the fundamental skills in archery the students will know and apply the
different rules and regulations of archery
>Learn how rules and regulations apply in archery
>students will identify and explain some rules and regulations in archery from video that they
will watch
>students will memorize and do all rules and regulations of archery.

Procedure
>A. Class room management daily routine
>prayer
>greetings
>attendance
>pick up the piece of paper
>arrangement of chairs
B. Motivation :teacher will make groupings where the students will make some yell.
C. Presentation:
1. All standard long bows, recurve bows, compound bows and crossbows are
acceptable on the range. 380 and 400 compound bows must shoot in the posted
dedicated lanes.
2. Family members under 16 must be accompanied by an adult member.
3. Always draw the bow pointed toward the target, with or without arrows.
4. Avoid physical contact with an archer in the shooting position.
5. Do not shoot arrows up into the air.
6. Do not use damaged equipment.
7. Never use arrows that are too short for your draw length. Do not use cracked arrows.
8. Wait behind the shooting line until all archers are finished shooting and the signal to
collect is given.
9. Never handle another archer’s equipment without permission.
10. No broached or expandable arrows.
11. No broadheads.
12. Do not cross the shooting line to retrieve arrows until everyone is done shooting.
G. Abstraction :
Safety is always the first and foremost priority here at Triggers and Bows. Please follow
these Archery Range Rules to guarantee a fun and safe time for all!
Evaluation :
Write T if the statement is true and F if the statement is false.
