Reflections

-Example #1: Sojourner Truth


This was an assignment on Sojourner Truth. It was on her famous speech
“Ain’t I a woman”. It involved annotating parts of her speech and reading it
to understand its meaning.

-Example #2: Journal 9


In this journal for language arts we practiced brainstorming ideas for
narrative stories. We made lists of things we thought could be each part of
the stories. After that part we practiced writing narrative essays and that is
the story after the lists.

-Example #3: Narrative


This is the assignment that I actually wrote my own narrative essay. It was
a story about some men who are looking for a spot in the city to open their
new store yet when they find what looks like a good spot they discover a
grim truth about it.

Example #4: The difference between winning and


succeeding
This was a short writing I did after a TED talk video. After I watched the
video I did this short reflection.
