Non-Parallel System Irregularity in 3D Models

Structural modeling requires either a 2D or 3D model depending on the building's irregularities according to ASCE7-10 Section 12.7.3. A 3D model is required for buildings with horizontal structural irregularities of Type 1a, 1b, an out of plane offset irregularity of Type 4, or a non-parallel system irregularity of Type 5.
