Grease Trap Sizing Guidelines

This document provides information for sizing a grease trap for a project. It lists various fixtures that drain into the grease trap and their associated drainage fixture unit values. Based on the type of food preparation (light or heavy fats/oils/grease production), a table is used to determine the required grease trap size based on the total drainage fixture units. For this project, the fats/oils/grease production is classified as light, and with 12 total drainage fixture units, the required grease trap size is 750 gallons.
