Artifact Description: Web Launchpad- Use word processing software and line tools to create a 2-
dimensional item composed of learning websites and images.

What you Learned: This project was a little difficult for me to create because I was having a hard
time lining up all my images with the lines I had drawn. The easiest part for me on this whole
project was inserting the links into my images. This project was great for learning how to use the
line tools on Microsoft Word as well as learning how to insert images into word documents. This
project really taught me some patience because I am not going to lie. I was getting really
frustrated when I could not line up everything. I attempted to do this without drawing it out first
and that ended up being a lot harder than I expected because I did not have an image to look at to
get an idea of what I was doing.

Standard #5 5b: Students collect data or identify relevant data sets, use digital tools to analyze
them, and represent data in various ways to facilitate problem-solving and decision-making.

Application of Skills Learned for the Future: This project would be a great learning tool for
students who need a little more help with using their drawing tools as well as needing a little
more practice with placing images on a word document. This would be a great activity for
students to show the different websites they use to learn certain things. Students could do this
activity to chart the way they learn and what they use to learn. This is a great project or activity
for students who need a little help with word processing tools.
